Over the course of five full-length albums and dozens of tours across North America, the United Kingdom and Europe, Saskatoon’s Slow Down Molasses has seamlessly evolved from blissed-out dream pop and hazy Americana into a noise drenched rock act falling somewhere between the bruising post-punk of Mission Of Burma and the cerebral spectrum of hardcore, landing somewhere between the rosters of Matador and Dischord Records.

A hardcore band from Regina, Saskatchewan, known for their fierce sound and powerful message. Where the Heart Is

Formed in Saskatoon in 2010, Where the Heart Is emerged from a close-knit group of friends driven by post-hardcore intensity and DIY ethics. After parting ways in 2015, the band lay dormant for nearly ten years. Now reunited, the founding brothers have returned with two new Saskatoon artists, re-igniting the project with fresh energy while staying rooted in the sound and spirit that started it all.
